trueHey guys, I've been prescribed 300mg, 3 times a day of gabapentin for anxiety. I've had a hard time understanding the bioavailability. I'm currently taking around 2 doses of 900mg and 1 does of 300mg. In your experience is gabapentin actually more potent if you stagger? If I want to enjoy the effects of gabapentin sooner would an initial dose of 900mg suffice? I've heard of reports that gabapentin works fine in large intital doses. I completely understand how the amino acid transporter stops absorbing once over saturated. BUT everyone's cut off for absorbtion may not be 600mg What? Gabapentinoids are extremely addictive and rewarding. A simple Reddit search will show you. and withdrawals are ridiculous. It’s not as simple as a taper. There are lots of Facebook groups that show the taper needs to be in the 1mg dose at times. You cannot just half the dosages. The people who say it’s the next opioid or benzo are saying that for a reason. It’s extremely abused on Proper recreational dose for Gabapentin? Just like the title says. I was prescribed 90 300mg caps of Gabapentin for a couple herniated discs (L5S1 + L4L5) and while hopeful it will give me relief in that aspect until I get proper treatment, I've also heard quite a bit about the recreational uses of it. I'm interested. Pregabalin/Lyrica is WAY better than Gabapentin/Neurontin. You don't need to take gigantic doses throughout the day and it isn't as confusing to dose either. I can take a couple hundred milligrams of Lyrics and feel great. It is definitely the successor of Gabapentin and clearly shows. When I do use my gabapentin for recreation, I split my 800mgs in half and take 400 every 15 minutes. It seems to work pretty well. I've taken well over 4000mg. It does seem to get better with the higher dose. Also prolongs the buzz you get from it Gabapentin is lipophilic, meaning that it bonds to fat in order to be processed by the body, which is why you need to eat a lot of fat as you take the pills. The acidity of your carbonated drink will help digest the Gabapentin. The olive oil is mostly unsaturated fat, making it an excellent choice for increasing absorption of Gabapentin. My doctor just prescribed me Gabapentin 100mg 3x per day for anxiety. She said she’s had much success with patients who can’t use benzos. And the online reviews are very positive. Has anyone taken it off label for anxiety? If so, what was your optimum dosage? And how long did it take to start I’ve acquired five 300mg gabapentin pills and I’m wondering how to go about trying it for the first time. Also Aleve (naproxen) can increase bioavailability, as well as capsaicin. Topical capsaicin has a longer half life than oral capsaicin. I drank 2 shots of vodka about 7 hours ago and feel completlely sober now. However, if you dose correctly, you'll be feeling fucking amazing for a long duration, and be 100% functional. It becomes a very nice opiate without the side effects and addiction. HOW TO PROPERLY USE GABAPENTIN: Assuming 300mg per pill, take one pill every thirty minutes, a total of three pills (taking more will make it weaker, see below) This is excellent advice— I’d just add that gabapentin has few side effects for animals or people, which is why it’s increasingly prescribed for off label uses, like mild sedation. My elderly 17lb.dog is on 100mg gaba twice daily for neurological (spinal) pain long term without any impact on kidney or liver values.
