Didn’t help much and I certainly didn’t notice any sedating effects at all. My allowable dose was up to 300 mg 3x a day, though, so not the max amount. My doctor just prescribed me Gabapentin 300 mg 3x a day for neck pain. I’ve only been taking it once a day and I’ve slept somewhat better but otherwise been in more (maybe due to something else) or similar amounts of pain. I’m always hesitant to take drugs. Gabapentin is not approved for migraine but many doctors prescribe it off label for migraine I started taking 300 mg once, first day. Side effects were : dizziness, drowsiness, feeling of being high and fatigue.
