It can cause anger issues especially mixed with opiate pain medication, but it went away after a few weeks for me. Tough it out or try taking one in the morning for the first week then go up to twice a day, of it's effecting you that bad I'd work your way up. May have been just the huge jump in dosage of Gabapentin, some medications will do that. I would keep a watch on how you feel for the next few days unless the symptoms you are feeling are too much to handle, then try a slower bump up. Gabapentin Anger Gabapentin is such a weird drug. One day I take it and feel amazing and on top of the world. The next day I take it and don’t get the energy and every little thing makes me super anger. Yes, it brought me a lot of irritability, and anger issues I was on 4x 300mg per day, for almost a year I tapered off within 1 month, and after a few months I was back to baseline, without any irritability or anger There are hundreds of posts about "gabapentin irritability" on reddit, this is super common unfortunately I also experience impatience, anger and negativity which I try to control but not to the same degree. If I knew of a drug which prevented the neuropathic pain in my feet and hands I would definitely stop the gabapentin. Did the lower dose cause the same reaction and did it not alleviate the pain?
