Yes! I've been taking Gabapentin (300mg three times per day) for about a month. The last two weeks I've recalled many dreams. The dreams are full of details and seem very realistic. All of the dreams have been positive/pleasant. Usually I don't recall any dreams. Happy to fins this old thread, I recently started taking GABA and noticed very vivid dreams that I remember when I wake up. Personally I remember alot of details of the dreams too like the color and design of the rugs on the ground or the conversations with people and I'm not disappointed and im happy I haven't experienced any nightmares, yet. Gabapentin helps increase deep REM so one would assume dreams would be more vivid/ intense but i actually theorize the slight nerve analgesic / emotionally numbing aspects of gabapentin actually help reduce the emotional response in dreams.. thus relating to more “peaceful” dreams. Prio to being on Gabapentin I was recently prescribed Mirtrazipine and that caused me crazy, intense, vivid dreams and delerium which was unpleasant, even at tiny sub 5mg doses. With the Gabapentin I haven't really noticed the dreams being an issue, certainly not overly scary and vivid ones but maybe slightly more memorable dreams than usual. After being deprived of REM sleep, your brain makes up for lost time. Happens a lot with people who stop smoking pot after partaking regularly. FYI: I also take methotrexate, Prednisone, and several other meds a day for RA and other issues, but I've just noticed this since starting the Gabapentin. Welcome to r/Dream.
