Apparently gabapentin reduces the signals from your stomach that tell you you're full and other stuff I'm not entirely sure about - I was on prednisalone for some of the time on gaba, and that definitely leads to weightgain. A positive/neutral side effect was that I was much less anxious on gabapentin than usual.
