The weirder part is that my heart rate was almost taking longer to respond. It’s sitting high when I’m resting (normally around 75, now 90) and when I stand up it increases slower than normal to the 150s (or higher if I let it) and all symptoms get far worse. I have been taking Gabapentin for about 6 years on & off at a dose of 200mg a day for panic attacks. It has usually always worked great. I have noticed blood pressure and heart rate increase when I take it & I have had to stop. I’m curious if anyone else experienced this? I just started gabapentin 3 days ago by my neurologist for nerve pain. I've been taking 300mg once daily and supposed to titrate up to 300mg 3x/day. Today I'm supposed to start my 2x/day but I'm frankly a little worried because my heart rate has consistently been in the high 40s to low 50s at rest since yesterday (normally I'm 65-75). I've been off gabapentin about 4 weeks now and while some symptoms have completely gone away, the one I'm still dealing with very strongly with my rapid heart rate. Medical History: Lupus, lumbar fusion (TLIF L5-S1) in December of 2020. Fusion has been deemed a failure (no bone bridge, screw halos).
